Emerge Pennsylvania is Training women like you to run for office this year!

One year after the presidential election, interest in Emerge Pennsylvania’s intensive seven-month training program was higher than ever. The organization received 57 applications from Democratic women interested in seeking public office across the Commonwealth. The 2018 cohort will be in good company. Emerge Pennsylvania is building upon a strong alumnae network, having graduated two cohorts since its inception in 2015. This past November, the organization celebrated a 100% success rate, with six out of six alumnae on the ballot winning their races. After interviewing the applicants, the Emerge Pennsylvania board narrowed the list to an ambitious and diverse group of women, that includes a farmer, a veteran, an electrician, a doctor and a homemaker.
